Richmond is a very well known town in west/south London It's property developments began in the 1400's when Henry VII renamed the existing town of Sheen to Richmond and built a beautiful palace there. It has many large houses. Because of their imposing size, many of the larger houses have been converted into flats. In more recent times purpose built flats and apartments have been added. There are also a number of riverside apartment developments. The most expensive houses are located at the top of Richmond hill with it's' wonderful views.

Richmond has extremely good road and rail links into London. It also has the London Portsmouth 'A' road (A3) closeby which gives great access to the M25. There are a number of bus routes available to all the surrounding areas like Surbiton and the Underground scores even more transport points.

Richmond Houses and Flats are extremely popular and prices are high, rivalling Chelsea and Kensington making Letting or Renting a house or flat is a good option.
