East and West Molesey have grown in different ways since the 1300's. East Molesey became part of the borough of Kingston Upon Thames, whilst West Molsey grew in the opposite direction. The housing in the West Molesey is a lot more modern than East Molesey there are a lot of 1960's and 1970's houses and newer purpose build flats. There are some converted houses in the Molesey area but more modern flats are more available

East and West Molesey has extremely good road and rail links into London Waterloo (25 minutes). It also has the London Portsmouth 'A' road (A3) nearby beside it which gives great access to the M25. There are a number of  bus routes available to all the surrounding areas like Kingston.

East and West Molesey Houses and Flats are extremely popular and prices are higher than some other areas in the South London area. Letting or Renting a house or flat is a good option.
